Carlsbad Village Farmer’s Market
If you are looking for a way to experience all that Carlsbad Village has to offer, one of the best places to start is with a visit to the Carlsbad Village Farmers Market. Held on Wednesdays in the heart of downtown Carlsbad, this vibrant market brings together a variety of fresh produce and locally sourced goods that make it so much more than your average farmers market. From farm-fresh avocados and stone fruit, as well as seasonal vegetables like beets and carrots, to artisanal cheese makers offering unique varieties of aged cheeses; there’s something here for every home buyer who wants an authentic taste of Southern California life.
The State Street Farmers’ Market showcases more than 50 vendors selling fresh, organic, locally-grown fruits, vegetables and flowers, as well as artisan-prepared foods, such as bread and cheese. It is also a great place to find unique, locally-made artwork and crafts.
This farmers’ market is a popular destination for people living in north county San Diego. Even though it’s somewhat small, it’s packed with vendors who sell high-quality items. Visitors can purchase pre-made food items, which may include salsa, tamales, cheese, granola, popcorn, juices, desserts and farm fresh eggs. You can find freshly cut flowers, plants, coconut water, olive oil, honey, candles and fresh fish.

Shopping in Carlsbad Village
The village of Carlsbad has something to offer shoppers of all tastes. I start by parking on State to get a coffee at Baba Coffee, a locally owned airy spot for coffee, tea & craft beer plus healthy bites. There is usually plenty of parking on this part of State.
Next up is strolling and window shopping up State street. Carlsbad Village has SO many great boutiques and shops to pop in and out of. Of course I love to stop at Mystical Dragon and see if any crystals are calling for me to take them home.
Skylar’s home store has fantastic home furnishings, while a little expensive, definitely a great place to find that special item for your home.
VILLAGE ROCK SHOP
The Village Rock Shop is a crystal and gemstone gift shop with a lovely collection of handmade products including crystal jewelry, dreamcatchers with gemstones, handmade natural candles, aromatherapy sprays, and more! While browsing through the shop, you will find authentic, natural crystals that have been primarily sourced from small mines. Each crystal carries its own unique healing, purifying, and balancing properties, so feel free to ask any questions about the benefits of the crystals and gemstones!
DOLLHOUSE BOUTIQUE
Another one of the unique shops you need to visit at Carlsbad Village is the Dollhouse Boutique, a small family-owned business that specializes in the best of California fashion! Take a stroll through this bright and airy shop to discover basic tanks and tees with soft fabrics, whimsical frocks, blouses, tops, and other clothing items to suit a range of styles and ages! The Dollhouse Boutique also offers a fun collection of mugs, candles, handbags, and wine glasses for you to take back home!
75 Degrees and Fuzzy
f the name of 75 Degrees and Fuzzy doesn’t draw you through the door, the eclectic and adventuresome styles in the window sure will! This fun shop focuses on clothing for women of all ages, including dresses, tops, loungewear, and accessories! The store is owned by a mother-daughter team and was conceived based on a love for fashion. Many of the items you see in the shop have been handpicked from the Los Angeles Fashion District and exude high quality characteristics!
